Stop and go traffic is not where manual transmissions shine. Goose it at the wrong time and yes, you will be sideways and surprisingly quickly. It is not a monster but is powerful enough to demand being treated with respect. It will slide if you hit the accelerator on a hard turn in the rain. Driving one will tell you a lot about how it fits you (or not). If you have not driven one at all, try a couple out and take some time to sort out if it is a good fit for you. I have one and I love it, but I would not give a blanket "go ahead and buy it" recommendation to everyone. take it easy and dont assume it will be able to do anything close to awd vehicles in bad weather/terrain Other than that yeah great car!! just be super safe in the rain and snow. Have also slid out on multiple roads and highways (never a crash thank goodness) due to being stupid in bad weather, or just really really bad weather.

this happened twice before I learned how to control my momentum and keep her going up a steep hill, but 0/10 would never recommend. it was super freaky and I thought I was about to die due to the 40+ foot drop next to the road. I have michelin pilot s4+ all seasons all around, but even just an inch of snow up a steep hill resulted in sliding to a stop somewhere halfway up, then she would start to slide backwards and any pressure on the brakes would force my tail end to swing to the side. should have seen it coming but I had faith. I lived off a few miles of dirt road, and I lived up the mountain. I used to live in the mountains of Vermont, dailying my Z.
